Novatek wins auction for Yamalo-Nenets deposit with 2.6 bln rbl bid

MOSCOW, Aug 30 (PRIME) -- Arctic LNG-1 (liquefied natural gas), a subsidiary of Russian independent gas producer Novatek, has won an auction for the Soletsko-Khanaveiskoye oil and gas field in the Yamalo–Nenets Autonomous District paying 2.586 billion rubles, Novatek said in a statement on Friday.

Earlier in August, a representative of the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry said that two Novatek’s units planned to bid for the field.
